Fresh herbs and quality dried herbs make all the difference in your culinary creations!

So I love useful plants, but especially herbs! They smell good, are often lush and green and they add pizazz to my culinary creations. I have even added fresh herbs to my flower bouquets. Cooking is a creative thing for me, I rarely make the same thing twice and I love playing this game of seeing what I can make with what I've got. My daughter isn't so much a fan, haha! She says mom I like it when you invite people for dinner because then I know what I am eating. I become more and more like my mom every day, my best friend Jenn growing up was always nervous about eating at our house since she never knew what it was. We were often just told it was goulash. ha.


Anyway, I have decided to start hand picking and air drying my herbs to share with others at local events/markets. And this year I grew a bunch of Calendula also, I love it for the skin, but you can drink it too! Some of my favorite basics are sage, mint and rosemary. Oh and most herbs are super easy to grow! So even if you have a brown thumb, no worries, they will survive you! Mint and Sage especially, it spreads like wildfire season after season!
