Refocusing in during the New Year

As we wrap up the holiday season and snuggle into winter, with the dangle of hope for more light to come, we can take this quiet time to refocus; on what, well that depends on where you are at in life, there is no right or wrong here. It's a time to welcome anything you are feeling and reflect, letting go of what no longer serves you and cultivating your hearts desire. Take this time to think, pray, relax, reflect and maybe envision what it is for you.

I plan to implement this approach in various aspects, both in my business and personal life. Keep an eye out for updates to my website over the coming months, which will include changes to my offerings and a shift in focus towards nurturing legacies. It's more than just tea and beneficial herbs; it's about recognizing and fostering our passions, appreciating what each of us contributes to the world, and sharing that. Whether shared globally or just within your family, it's about expressing your true self.

One activity I frequently enjoy in the new year to nurture my dreams and aspirations is making a vision board. This not only aids in pursuing those goals, but also, during the darker winter months when some people experience depression, it serves as a form of EXPRESSION, the opposite of depression!

So to make a vision board gather:

  • poster board

  • glue

  • scissors

  • magazines (doctors offices or libraries often have old issues they are willing to part with, or a recycling center)

  • scraps of decor, fabric, earth materials, paper or embellishments, anything that inspires you

Find a relaxing space where you can browse, read, maybe invite a couple of friends over.

Create something, even if you don't think you are creative, I can tell you, you are. One of my favorite therapists (yes I see a therapist sometimes, none of us has it all figured out) reminded me that we are all born with the gift of divinity, creativity and lovability. Do not let the world tell you otherwise! I hope you always see yourself the way your creator sees you, creative, lovable and simply divine!

With love and gratitude, Tosha
